SMCC provides in-room access points (APs) to some dorm rooms to supplement building WiFi and provide extra wired connections for residents.
In this photo, the AP is displayed so that the ports are easy to see. As installed, the AP will be vertical with the Ethernet ports facing down.
The AP includes some convenience features for residents. From above:

Please note:
- While there are four Ethernet ports on the AP, the first one (E0/PT) is nonfunctional.
- The E3 port is colored orange but functions the same as the other two ports.
- The USB port is for charging only and does not provide internet access.
