As a student or employee of SMCC, you have access to the Microsoft Office 365 suite. Included with your subscription, which you have as long as you are a student or employee, are
- 1 Terabyte of storage in Onedrive
- Web versions of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint, Teams, and more
- The ability to install the Office suite locally on up to 5 computers, 5 tablets, and 5 smartphones
- Free training materials at Https://Support.Office.com
NOTE: You should NOT install Office 365 software on school owned computer equipment. The Office 365 software is meant for home/personal use.
To access your subscription, sign into the SMCC portal. In the upper right corner, click the link labeled “O365”
At the Microsoft sign in prompt, type in your SMCC e-mail address
Choose work or school account if prompted
And when you are redirected to the SMCC sign-in page, sign in with your SMCC credentials.
At the Office 365 screen, you can click on the icons to use the web version of the software, or you can select “install office” to download the installer file, which you will need to run to install the applications to your personal device.
