Overview
Sign on access to the Help@SmccME.edu portal requires that you have an student account with SMCC.
Solution
If you are attempting to sign on to the Help@SmccME.edu Help Portal AND you received the following error message "You do not have permission to access this application" and you know that you have a student account something went wrong. The IT department will need to be notified to fix this problem. You can use this service to request that they fix the problem.
The problem is that on the back end side of the system, your username and authentication username don't match, i.e., your username is not correct in the Help@smccme.edu portal and needs to be fixed in this system. Though rare, occasionally this will happen.
